I am using Stomp RecordNOW max...is there anyway to know at what speed my media is burning at. You can select min, mid, and max for record speed ...and all my burns take about 45-50 mins. (probably since my meritline general media is only 1x)....but still, it only says % complete and it doesnt say the burn speed.

How about trying primo prassi it's pretty much the exact same thing as record now but when you select the drive you want to burn with you can select the burn speed it will be like Max then 8x 4x.. and so on down to 1x. or atleast that's how it's been for me. I'm pretty sure it WAS burning at 1x because that's what I burn all my back ups at 1x and it takes about an hour depending on the amount of info on the disc

check out the options - general - and u should have your speeds listed there. i have vers. 4.0 and mine shows my speed.
