Hi I was wondering if anyone can help me. I have a DVD from region 2 and I?m trying to back it up so that it will be able to play in region 1. Does anyone know how I can do this? I tried using DVD shrink and making it region free but that didn?t seem to work. Any help would be appreciated. Thanx.

You should have been able to do it with Shrink.

When you put in a DVD with region protection, Shrink will detect it and open a warning screen. It asks you if you want to make the movie "region free". Do this by entering the region code of the movie into the correct block. In your case, region 2.

Make sure you have the "Check RPC2..." box checked:

Edit > Preferences > File I/O tab, third box from the top.
