I am unable to copy the dvd's disc image using DVD Decryptor, this is the 1st game I've encountered any problem with just by reading the disc to make an ISO.

It will get to about 64%, than begin copying very slowly, almost at .1x, I've let the program continue to run for several minutes but the speed does not pickup and I begin to see many Disc Error Retries.

I am using the latest DVD Decryptor, is there any other program I can use, is there a way around this or is this game protected from backups? I had also tried Nero but that failed out around 64% as well.

ran into this problem before too, is the game disc scratched at all on the bottom. That was the problem I had with one of my games. It just froze on DVD Decrypter at a certain percentage with errors showing up.

Yes there appears to be one tiny scratch on the bottom of the disc. I just got this game a week ago, it was only released a week ago.

I've heard things where certain DVD burning software must release updates to work around various disc protections, which I feel that this game has been protected with something no software has seen yet.

The scratch is minor, I doubt there is a way to clean the scratch to work around this problem if that is the problem... anyone know how to clean a scratch so I can figure out if this is my only problem?

i think if it was more than a scratched disc we would see more postings about it, i just picked this game up today, when i get off work tonight, i'll try to back it up and repost my results

backed it up with DVD Decrypter using maxell DVD-R hub printable, that i bought at wal-mart, works with no problems, recorded at 4x speed.
