TMPGEnc problem

Currently im having problems with TMPGEnc-2.524.63.181 , when I open up my chosen video file, it only adds the video file and not the audio file, which i believe should normally be added automatically.

some details of the video file im trying to add:-

It was 2 Avi File which i merged using VirtualDub-1.6.11.

when i play the file on my pc it plays with sound, so i know its there.

Has anyone else had this problem? or know how to correct it.
