Problem with file converted to MPEG

I converted a file to mpeg. the file opened in Jet audio and began playing, and even for what was the lenght of the 1 hour tv show, 43 min without commercials.

But the final mpeg was just blank??

Is this a problem with the file or with jet audio

can u help.
if this problem is already listed, I am sorry, please redirect me
