This is my final posting on how to finally burn a DVD perfectly, I have posted and tried everything to GET the perfect formula and believe me I have tried, spend, examined everything under the sun to perfect this.

I finally switched to the TY's and gave up the TDK's, Memorex, Sony's,
burnt coasters enough to make an extra island for Hawaii.

Nonetheless, here is my formula:

1. CloneDVD2
2. AnyDVD
3. TY Dvd media (on my 23rd burn backup with no coasters so far) :P
4. Patience.

Just wanted to thank everyone whom has dealt with my postings and the private PM's you guys know who you are,....thanks again for a great forum.

Hope I can help someone in the future.

I think the problem is mistyguam, each program is brilliant on its own;
each PC has its own mixture of programs, and they all react differently to each other.

I'd say it's a bit like cooking; and using a recipe, but it ain't that easy, there are too many variables. Firewalls, AVs' anti adware programs, pop up stoppers, never mind the remnants of deleted programs,
Oh and don't forget the digital camera. lol its a bloody nightmare..

I've spent the last 72hrs with little sleeping sessions, doing my earthly best to send Riteks shares up..:)

Nero, went then came back.
cloneDVD,came.. then went..and ain't coming back
cloneCD, came went..and then came back.
DVDshink stood on the brink, before I hugged its trembling form back into the fold.
WMP has been reduced in status, for Classic Media Player.
AnyDVD came,,,and ain't going nowhere.
DVD43 a sad goodbye.
That generic hard drive my digital camera prog installed...that went.
more problems for the future?

Well that's been my extended weekend. On the DVD and CD front all is now doing as it should. little dog hides behind sette as gringle gives an evil smile.

good luck in your pursuit, of the elusive dream.

deapest regards

gringle.

very true....different pcs comply with different programs

i seriously just have had it with trying everything under the book and spending and learning the hard way

i can honestly say this forum has teached me one GIANT lesson and that is.....ALWAYS try before you buy and dont be a sucker for everyones ads

so, my cooking formula for DVDs has settled in my kitchen and after spending on the menus and menus of cooked DVDs, i am proud to say this kitchen is cooking.

regards
