HD Advance w/ Modchip?

I just recently put a hard drive in my ps2 and am about to order HD Advance 3.0. (Unless anyone gives me a reason I shouldn't....) I'm wondering if it would also be beneficial for me to buy a modchip. I'm thinking on the lines of when I buy and back up a game that doesn't work with HD Advance, then I could just use my PC skillz to back it up with a DVD-R. Does this all seem logical or no?

Yeah dude,

Just buy the HDA3 package, instead of downloading it, i have bought it too and giver me no trouble. Ik have tried downloading but this works much better. spend the 30? well and buy the discs.
I can plAy GranTurismo4 from HDD just as God of War and others...
Make an ISO buy useing DVD-DECRYPTER and put the ISO on your hdd, by useing Winhiip 1.7.3

This made me a Happy mna.
