Hello, I bought a Mercenaries backup USA version for PS2 and I cannot get it to work with swap magic. I know about the cogswaploader. I put in the Magic Swap CD..then used the slide tool...then inserted the cogswaploader (which i burned using CDRWIN)..then it says not a valid ps2 disc.

Anyone have this problem or knows how i can solve it?

If i remember right Mercenaries needs a TOC refresh, if you have a game that is bigger than Mercenaries (gt4) press eject when Swap Magic is loaded and stick the high TOC game in let it refresh then do the swap and it should work but only if the TOC is higher than Mercenaries.

GTA is a big game 4+GB if i remembe but am not sure if Mercenaries is smaller or bigger, if ya stick them in your PC you can find out if its big enough.

Mercenaries can be rebuilt to work with swap magic, check out the guides section, San andreas works fine without any need to rebuild or use the toc refresh
