I get this message when trying using DVD Decrypter:

It gets to 84% complete, then stops and says this:

I/O Error!
Device: [0:1:0] Philips DROM 6216 GD01 (F:)(ATA)
ScsiStatus: 0x02
Interpretation: Check Condition
CDB: 28 00 00 09 E5 80 00 00 01 00
Interpretation: Read (10) - Sector: 648576
Sense Area: 70 00 03 00 00 00 00 0A 00 00 00 00 11 05 00 00 00 00
Interpretation: L-EC Uncorrectable Error

Then I can Abort, Retry, or Ignore.

What does this mean? I've tried taking the DVD out, cleaning it and retrying it, but I get the same error at the same point.

Sounds like a bad sector on the disc to me. Have you tried to rip it with DVDFab decrypter? You can get it free at http://filepedia.com under the rippers. Sometimes this tool can read through bad areas on a disc when DVDdecrypter has trouble.

You can always ignore it and hope for the best, but when this happens to me I use DVDFab to rip it and it has always worked for me. (knock on wood).

Yeah what 9mm said. Also, what is the movie?

Check a few settings in DVD Decrypter also. Go to Tools->Settings..., under the CSS tab tick the option that reads Brute Force->I/O Key Exchange, under the On Failure option make it Yes. Under the I/O tab tick the box to Ignore Read Errors.

DVDFab. I'll give it a try.
Thanks!
