Posted this in another forum but thought you guys might have an idea as well.

My problem is using a Plextor 176-updated firmware btw, DVD shrink with dual layer dvd's, they freeze up in my stand alone dvd player but play fine in my cpu, I've used dvd shrink countless times with single layer without a hitch but when I switch it to do dl discs it just makes coasters(or unless I want to watch the movies on my cpu...) On a side note I used the dvd fab trial to do some dl discs and it worked fine on the same setup. If anyone can tell me what I'm doing wrong or reccomend a free program to do dl discs I'd greatly appreciate it.
