The discs you are using are they DL(dual layer) or Flippers(written on both sides) can you supply us with your burner details so we can advise you further.

The disc type are:(info from staples.com)
Verbatim 2.4x 3/Pack DVD+R DL (Double Layer), DVD DL (double layer) discs store up to 8.5GB of information on a single disc.

The machine I'm using is the ilo DVDR05MU/Recorder & Player Model.
Do not know if it's duel layer or not.

If I can find the flippers disc, will I be able to use them also?
(if at all).
Hope this helps.
Thank-you

In my opinion you'd be better off using the Dual Layer discs, from reading the thread you have a recorder and not a burner, if this is the case I cannot offer any advice except hang around and someone with that info will reply. Cheers

I finally got an answer to my questions:

The iLO DVD Recorder does not support dual layer disc.

How about flippers? (the ones that you can record on both sides?)
Yes, but you have to finalize each side when finished burning

I hopethis helps others.

thanks
