My burns are excellent, however, read/writes are very slow. Read is 1.5 and burn is usually 0.8-1.2. On setup I selected 4x for speed. I have a Liteon 16x double layer writer model SOHW-1673SO6C. Does anyone have any suggestions on how to speed up a little? Also, computer is Dell 4700 3gig with 1.5 gig of dual channel memory!

Make sure your drives are set to DMA not PIO, in Device Manager. Also check to see that your firmware is up to date.
