when i went to back up devils rejects,i opened up shrink,the hit "open disc" and a pop up came up and said the disc was copy protected and dvdshrink could no go any further.anyway i was gonna run it through decrypter,but then i figured what the hell,ignored the pop up hit"open disc"again and it ran through fine.My question is,why would this pop up come up saying dvdshrink cannot proceed when on the 2nd try it went through with no problems whatsoever?

Just one of those DVD Shrink quirks. I've read about that one before.

I think sometimes it works sometimes it won't play in certain DVD players. Use a program called AnyDVD player. Run the program in the back while you open Shrink. It will decrept while Shrink does it's thing. http://www.slysoft.com/en/anydvd.html Thinks that's the site. It's Free.

I burned this DVD to a temp file and then to a SONY 8X DVD-R DISC two days ago using DVD43 and Nero Recode2 with no trouble. But I have seen SHRINK do this same thing you described. I too just tried again and SHRINK worked with no problem. "Good Movie":)
