i was just wondering if anyone knew if there is a general list of movies that people have a hard time burning

I am not sure that there is a list. There are those that certainly seem to give people fits, but once the encryption issue is identified the problem goes away.

If you have the most current programs with updates as made available you should not have a problem.

I have not found any that I could not backup yet.

one of the movies i have had trouble burning is Star wars episode 2, but that may have been because it was scratched though...

If you are getting a CRC error it is probably because of the scratch, try cleaning it or return it for another. This movie does not have any special protection on it, I have backed up several times with different programs. Shrink can handle this easily.

No probs with Star Wars III. You can also use AD's search function to search for more specific advice on a particular movie.
