I'M HAVING ANOTHER PROBLEM WITH MY DVD CLONE. THE PROBLEM IS WHEN IT GETS TO THE END OF THE PROCESS MEANING IT HAS FINISHED WRITING AND FLUSHING BORDERS AND BUFFERING IT JUST KEEPS WRITING. AFTER A HALF HOUR TO AN HOUR THE MESSAGE POPS UP THAT IT HAS FINISHED. DOES ANYONE KNOW WHAT CAUSES THIS?
okay sorry about the caps...i'm talking about clonedvdvd2....the media i use is from comp usa DVD+R 4x...and i burn at 4x...and in the past it worked without no problems...it buffered and flushed the borders and the message popped up to eject dvd...
Ok, when the window pops up, after burning, and says eject media, go ahead and do it. Now does it play in your standalone player?
The media you use, what brand is it?
Is this the first burn you are making with CloneDVD2?
I have a guide in my signature that is specifically for AnyDVD and CloneDVD2. I would recommend printing and reading that guide. It is wonderful and will walk you through the process.
If you are not sure of the brand of media go to http://www.filepedia.com and download dvdidentifier (free). It is located in the DVD Info tools section. It will provide you with the media id.
i think the problem with the dvd clone was not the dvd clone but the type of media i was using. I used the comp usa media 4x DVD+R, and that didn't work too well. Then i used the sony 4x DVD+R and that worked without any problems. It's so picky about the media it will use....sort of like a woman huh...lol...just kidding for all you feminists out there...
