Ok well since you are here ill tell you how to mod ftp and do all that crap in simple steps.
Well first there wont be any direct links i will send you the link and then make you get there yourself srry thats how i did it, it is not that hard.
Well to start off i will say DONT BLAME ME IF YOU SCREW UP YOUR XBOX AND DONT MOD ON XBL
Steps will be in 1 2 3 format and i guess you want to mod now so here you go
Needs: Splintercell (non platnuim rating on the bottom is good) softmod download www.a4h.com (go to download then go to action replay and download the 1 of 2 one action replay or maga x key or some way of sending the files to your xbox and for now thats it
OK lets start
1 After getting all the needs extract the softmod file that you downloaded.
2 use action replay or a ftping program to send it to your xbox
Action replay: Send both files seprate unless it fits
Ftp program: use that and send it to E (i would recommend Action replay)
FTP users take a break
3. Action replay users after sending it to your box take those files and load up the linux file which should be the 2 slintercells you loaded up earlier.
It will say linux in the file area after you click start game click on the linux file then click check point. If you do this then your screen should go black. Wait about a minute if your screen changed to a blue screen you have done the somewhat hard steps and from here its harder to screw up your box so take a deep breath and relax
4. Ok now DO THIS STEP OR YOU WILL MESS UP YOUR XBOX IF YOU GO AHEAD WITHOUT IT I REPEATDO THIS STEP OR YOU WILL MESS UP YOUR XBOX IF YOU GO AHEAD WITHOUT IT ok this is what you have to do click create MS dashboard then when it is done click create mod backup
now if you did that you should always be able to go back if you make a mistake. I dont plan on anyone messing up but beleive me noboty is perfect *points at self*.
5. scroll down and click install softmod. Then scroll done and click install UnleashX ( why unleashx because it is easier then evox and in some places evox is illegal) install it to C: when you do that click restart xbox make sure to open the tray otherwise the game that is in the drive will go on if that happens just restart your xbox by turning it off the and redownload the mods but if you see a new dashboard come on go on to step 6 or if you finish redownload go on to step 6
6. Now after you restart your xbox a new dash should appear Pretty cool EH well this took me some time cuz i didnt have a really helpful tut but guess what you basicly just modded your xbox kind of hard i agree but you did it if you want to mod maps your from from that but at least you got this far
