Now, I'm not a noob when it comes to ripping DVDs for the PSP. I've done quite a few, including two seasons of Samurai Jack. So, I know what I'm doing, but ripping my Invader Zim DVDs have me stumped. Every other DVD of tv episodes I have seen, have each episode be it's own chapter. So when ripping with DVD Decrypter in IFO mode, I just choose to split by chapter, set the proper video and audio streams to process and I'm off. With Invader Zim though, they have made the episodes span several chapters, sometimes even starting or stopping mid-chapter as far as I can tell. Any ideas on how to rip DVDs like this properly?

Try not splitting the file. Usually episodes are split by VobID not cells or chapters. If an episode has 2 or 3 chapters, then splitting by chapter will split an episode by 2 or 3 etc... Just select the PCG and rip with no file splitting. It will only rip the PGC you are highlighting. However, if it lists a PGC as 3 hours or whatever, then they are all combined. You can then try splitting by VobID, but I have not encountered discs like this yet.

If you want to keep the chapters (not really keep, but extract), first right click on the PGC and select "create information file". This will let you pick from a lot of different programs format for a chapter list (I am assuming you are demuxing the files).

I did get it figured out last night. The PGC is listed as over 2 hours for each disc, so I had to figure out which chapters made up each episode, then rip each episode separately using no file splitting. A fair bit more time consuming and required making a folder for each episode, but at least it worked.
