Big problem with swap disc mod, please HELP

hey, i got the swap disc for my ps2 v13 yesterday and i installed the three tools but it wont play burned games! i borrowed a copied game from a friend which i know works as ive seen it in action and when i go to swap the discs it says something like "please insert bigger TGP disc"... also, with tool c i may have pushed it in too far (like 3mm extra). could that be an issue? if so, is it fixable? thanks.

it says "Insert bigger TOC disc.", not tgp.
