Yes,but some older PS2s have trouble reading DVD+Rs.

i bought mine in 2001, dont know version, but it is 8 screw, do you think it will work?

It might,but most Ver 4-7 work best with DVD-Rs.

It's not about Magic Swap or Swap Magic, it all depends on your PS2 console.

i dont know much about my console. the only thing i know is that it is 8 screw and works well with DVD+R movie dvd.
