I just got The Warriors backed up and I when the game loads the screen flickers. The game loads perfectly fine but I can't tell what is going on because of the flickering. I have component video hooked up to my tv, could this possibly be the problem or could it be the way I burnt the DVD?

Sounds to me like your trying to play a NTSC or PAL game on a PAL/NTSC TV, is it a backup from the real thing or is it downloaded?

Amd make sure you rebuilt the game properly. Im having problems playing "The Warriors" as wel l but im pretty sure its my swap magic 2.0 disk and not the game. If possiblw clarify a few things for me..

First off what type of set up are you running? (i.e swap magic or modded ps2)

what type of media did you burn the game to?

Whats the origin of the game? (is it a dwnld or an official back up)

Im pretty sure if you answer these questions someone here will definately be able to help you trouble shoot your proplem..

Swap magic 3.6 with a flip top. I am using Ritek DVD+R's that are rated at 8x. The game was downloaded (PAL) and burned at I believe 8x speed, but might have been slower. Like I said, the game loads fine, but just has lines that go up and down the screen repeatedly. My TV is NTSC. I don't know what you mean by rebuilding the game. I've never done that before and most all of my games play fine. Thanks alot for the quick response!

Since its PAL your TV must support PAL for it to work that's why it flickers, have you tried switching the video mode to NTSC on swap magic? Also you can try and convert the ISO from PAL to NTSC. The Warriors does not require a rebuild but what rkronnin means by that is that some games have junk data in them like FIFA 06 or NHL 06 and will or do not load correctly all a rebuild requires is extracting the files in the ISO then using something like Nero to remake the ISO.
