Hi all, I have had nothing but trouble in creating back ups for my PS2 of my games. I use DVD Decrypter and ImgBurn and it seems to complete a burn and when I pop it into my machine with swapmagic it loads up. An yet the minute I go to load a game it sticks on the loading screen. The example I use for this is Shining Force Neo. I am going to go back and check my other two backups to see if they load beyond the title screen as well but I have a feeling maybe they do not. Any help would be very appreciated, even constructive critisism! Thanks!

What Media are you using,what speed are you burning at?

media? as in disk? heh thats how new I am to this :D

RiDATA DVD-R disks
and I did not modify the settings on ImgBurn so I would presume it runs at 8x

Thats probally your problem,try burning at 4x and see if it works.

Alright I am currently doing such now, and I did check my other back up disks and they have the same problems...hang ups on load screens. Another question is, I ripped them with DVD Decrypter...does it matter how fast or the fact I used default settings on the program? Basically do I need to re rip my disks?

K4kashi, my thanks. Your suggestion seemed to clear up the problem with the newest burn! So I am going to have to make coasters of my other backups that I had thought worked and redo them at a slower speed. Again thank you for being so helpful!
