Uninstalling flip top issue

So my cousin wants me to me to uninstall his flip top, as apparently I'm the only one who knows how to do it since I installed one on my own. Problem is that after I uninstalled it, the picture got really blurry, and there were wavy lines running across the screen on all the games he booted as well as the start up screen. Any ideas of what's going on? thanks

Maybe a damaged AV lead, or maybe something is shorted, dont know why removing the flip top should affect it.
