Well I got a modded ps2 and some people say you won't be able to connect to the internet..is this true?
Cuz im planning to get a network adaptor for my ps2

No, its not true you might need to turn your chip off to get online, if you have a chip in there, with swap magic theres no problem at all getting online.

How are you able to just turn your chip off to get online?
Cause I got my chip installed in my ps2 and I am not entirely sure what a swap magic is!

Basically if you want to play PS2 backups, you either have a chip, a hard drive, or the Swap Magic discs (which you swap with backups). To connect online with games, you need a modchip which can turn itself off (many modern chips have this feature) so it doesn't get detected as a hardware modification during the sign-on, I believe, or use the Swap Magic discs, which don't involve any modification to the PS2 hardware.

Well I jus got a network adaptor and when I try to play an online game and try to go through the DNAS scan it says dat I have this error!

-402 sceDNAS2_SS_INVALID_MEDIA Invalid disc. "DNAS Error (-402) A PS2 disc information error has occurred." Incorrectly updated or missing patch. Possibly more than one update needed.
