When I choose the subtitles using Shink, I only choose english and leave everything unchecked. Problem I have on some DVD's like Star Wars, Jurassic Park and some more DVD's is that when I play the DVD, the subtitles automatically come on. If I turn off the subtitles and theres a scene with a diffrent language, the subtitles wont come up.

Any ideas what I should do?

hello,

For those films that have a foreign language dialog and english subs to translate, try this guide here:
http://www.dvdshrink.info/forcing_subs.php
This only works in reathor mode.

You can go into the preferences in Shrink and choose "Disable all sub streams except menus and forced streams. That should keep the subs from popping up unwanted.
