URGENT! how 2 play .avi & .mpg on PS2

hi,have my new ps2 slim version chipped..
but,how can i play my .avi and .mpg on it??
can someone please help??
i got it to work once,on a .avi file with media player 1.5 BUT picture was delayed...annoying

I have never known .AVI and .mpeg files to work on PS2 weather it is chipped or not. You need to convert your files to DVD format.

This can be done by using VSO DivXtoDVD - http://www.afterdawn.com/software/video_software/video_encoders/v...

Then you need to burn the files to DVD.

go to www.exploitstation.com and read the tutorials and stuff....you should be able to find a tool there to play .AVI and.mpg files on your PS2....sladgame don't know shit apparently

thanx guys :)

i know AVI.files works ... but,having problem with picture..moves too slowly..and its annoying...

if i use winavi,i get the files in .vob(dvd) in no time...but..
700 .AVI will take o whole DVD-R disc

wanna play my DVD-R with my 12 ep AVI on it...

it should work..but i need the right `player` on it perheps??
