I have a panasonic DVVD recorder hooked into the sky+ box and i record my rugby matches and other things from sky onto DVD-R discs and also DVD-RAM discs.
I have had some bad luck with a few of the DVD-R discs that i cant see the files on my PCs but thought it was just a few dodgy discs.
I took the DVD-RAM disc out of its cover and my flatmate copied off the files (.ifo .bup and .vro files) since my laptop wont read the ram disk...tecra M3 ...his is Toshiba P10.

I want to convert the .VRO files which is the main recording into a say 700mb divx or avi or whatever really.

I need to know what the best all in one software is to do this?????

There is alot of software around thet i have tried for other tasks ,like shrink to rip DVDs but i cant convert anything to nice .avi files or a tidy .divx!!!

One i tried took 3 hours and made a 2gb divx! Grrrrr
