After reading through this forum I'm a bit confused. I'm still waiting on a reply as to why my system crashes when trying to access dvd decrypter. Does dvd decrypter still work? I'm reading about it's demise back in June. Is there a new download? If not, what is available? Lastly, do i decrypt the dvd 1st, or shrink it, decrypt, the rip? Please advise.

It goes decrypt, shrink, burn. Here is a guide written by fasfrank, it's step by step and really simple, but it's a shrink guide and it leaves out decrypt, which is what I do:
