I recorded a number of MGEG files using WinTV under XP (FAT32 partition) then accidently deleted them. Since they were too large for the recycle bin, they were marked for deletion in the usual PC way. I immediately realized what I'd done and the partition has a lot of freespace so the OS didn't over-write and data yet and I was able to "recover" the files with an unerase utility. Unfortunately, none of the recovered files will play in any player I've tried. Any idea what's wrong and how I can fix them?

I suggest you download the demo version of Easeus DataRecoveryWizard to try. www.easeus.com
