I just posted another questiuon concerning the bad pixelation after about 45 minutes of a movie. Doing some searching for answers I saw several people asked whether or not a person having problems put labels on the discs. Does this effect the play of a disc?

In short, Hell Yes they do!!! They can throw your disc off balence and stuff.

Yep, unless they are placed evenly using a label application system. I can't tell you how many members I answer to that have playback issues and it usually comes down to paper/sticker labels and peeling them off took care of their issues.

The paper can absorb heat/discs become unbalanced/peel off on the edges/and can tear off in drives.

There's other labeling systems out there that are more reliable and easier on stand alones.

The label aplications things are good if you don't have an Epson but still want 'disc art' and hate sharpies. But the quality is no where near the quality of an epson.

don't use labels!!!!!!!!!! thay WILL peel. I don't care how good thay are. Wasted a $300 dvd player! I use sharpies. If you don't like those get the printable dvds. or ........buy differnet color sharpies and get creative!
