no sound thru Tmpgenc X press 3

I am trying to encode .vob files directly to mpeg but there is no sound.
While the vob file has sound when I play thru PowerDvd. If I run the vob files thru dvd2avi and vfapi (dont know the process name, how to name it) and feed the avi files and wav files separately to Tmpgenc, then I get the sound. But, its cumbersome and waste of time for me.

Pls guide..
