hi i am kinda new to this whole avi to dvd stuff and i am using dvd santa. every time i try and convert to dvd, dvd santa always has an error and shuts down, i have the proper codecs and stuff installed can anyone tell me why this is happening.

1) Was the AVI downloaded?

2) Did DVDSanta shut down right a way?

yeah i got the AVI from a torrent site and it plays no problem, and dvdsanta has an error and asks me to either send a repot or not. i chose not to of course but i have tried this with many AVI movies i got and it never wants to work.

You may first try convert with VSO DivXtoDVD (free version) to see if things are better:
