right i have film that is in 2 parts (each file is name xxxx.bin)

I understand that there is a way that you can merge the 2 files together so then it will be one file.

when this is done is there a way that it will play on a DVD player?

You may want first to extract the contents of the bins to harddisk with e.g IsoBuster, then tell us what's inside.
