Please Help!!!! DVD drive (Memorex DVD+/-RW Dual-X1) not recognizing PS2 games

I just recently reinstalled XP on my computer and now my DVD+/-RW Dual-X1 drive is acting oddly. It's properly recognizing cds, original dvds, and dvds burned with dvd shrink; but strangely, it's NOT recognizing ps2 games and dvds burned with dvd decrypter (neither video nor ps2).

I have updated firmware (via http://forum.rpc1.org/dl_firmware.php?download_id=1672) and the DVDs that aren't being recognized DO work in my ps2. Could someone please give me a pointer, or do you need more info?? . . . . Thanks much!!

ive got diff drive but mine dose the same if it dose pick up the name dose it say there after disk has been taken out cos thats what mine does make no diff dvd decripter still picks it up and burns fine so i just ignore it

Well, the thing is it's not reading any ps2 games at all, so decrypter/nero/etc don't work and I'm unable to back anything up
