Hi there,

Hoping somebody will be able to help me! I have recently purchased a Panasonic DMR-ES20DEB DVD recorder. I have attempted to play some of my DVD backups but a couple of them have not worked, namely Batman Begins and Star Wars III Revenge Of the Sith.

The recorder attempts to read the disks, then displays message 'UNSUPPORT'.

Both films were backed up using AnyDVD and CloneDVD onto Philips DVD-R media, and both play beautifully on my old DVD player, which is also a Philips. Both play fine on my PC, so I doubt it's the media. Other movies backed to the same media work on the recorder no problem.

Is there some sort of new fangled protection which slips past CloneDVD and is being picked up by the DVD recorder? Interesting that the new movies in question are very recent blockbusters... Anybody else have experience of this, or know of a work around? Perhaps it the version of CloneDVD I am running?

Any assistance will be greatly appreciated.
