Ive been trying to get my dvd backups to work with my xbox and ps2....i havent made a succesfull copy yet that works with either of them...Ive been using FujiFilm DVD-R's......Do I need a certain type of media? or do I need to burn or process them differently to get them to play? (e.g. burn in an iso image}

make sure you output them into dvd-video. They wont play if you dont do this. I had this same problem. What programs do you use to burn them?

The newest version of nero (www.nero.com) burns great for xbox compatibilty dvd's. Select DVD-ROM (UDF)

Under the UDF tab, select " Force dvd-video compatibilty mode (Required for X-box)." Works for me everytime I use Grade A DVD-r's. If you use Grade B DVD-r's you might not get the same results everytime.
