winhip format hd now pc cant find it

i formated the wrong hd with winhip now my pc wont find it is there any way to revese the format my hd is an externel usb hd. winhip finds it but windows xp cant help please??????????????????

I think you're pretty much SOL. The format ps2 uses can't be understood by your PC/OS that's why winxp can't find it. Also, when you format a hdd in short it clears it. You could try using a software called "get data back" or similar software to try retrieving the data.

thanx ill try hope it works .i just got the usb hd and formated it by mystake !!!!!!!!!!!!
