Resident Evil 4 with swap magic and action replay

I made a back up of My resident evil 4 disk it works fine when i play it with swap magic 3.6. But i downloaded action replay max for ps2. So what i do is i put the swap magic cd version in my ps2 then i load the action replay max since it is not the origanl. It boots up fine, and i enable the cheats for resident evil 4. Then it says to put the game disk in so i did and it doesnt reconize it. This method worked for two of my origanls games Which are way of the samarai and Gran turismo 4 . Resident evil 4 works fine if i just use swap magic 3.6 Thanks
