Hi all , hope someone can help,I am having trouble backing up the above movie. I have tried twice now and each time same result.
This is the problem , it seems to rip and burn ok but I when I go to play it on a stand alone dvd player it does not play smoothly (jerky motion). So now I am trying for the third time and I dont want to waste another disk , so I thought that this time I would use the quality settings , deep analysis and compress with high quality adaptive error compensation , but I cant for some reason they are blanked out , dont know why can you help.I have deleted the earlier analysis so it analises it again but that does not help. Tried a different movie and they are not blank out so I am lost as to why.
Media : Tayo Yuden 8x
Burners : Lite on 12x
: LG 16X
Processor : P4 3g
Ram : 1G
Video : Radion x700 256 m

What speed are you burning at? If it's under 4x and you're not getting any errors during ripping and burning, then more than likely, your standalone doesn't like the blank dvdr's your using or it simply can't recognize them. Does your standalone give you an error prompt such as "cannot read disc" or something to that effect? If so, it doesn't like the media.

Being as you are using Taiyo Yuden I don't think that the media is the problem. What is your burn speed? Lower it to 4x and set your target size to 4300 in shrink. Give that a go and report back.

Cheers.

Yes I will try burning it at a slower speed , but what I really would like to know is why are the quality settings , deep analysis and adaptive error not enabled for this movie but are for others , is there some setting that I dont know about?? I cant make them work with this movie.
Thanks Rocky
