hello, i have a sony vaio and i was excited because i thought i would be able to 'back up' as many dvds and i 'had,' however ive just got the stock burning room and it will not alow me to burn copy protected dvds, is there anything i can download and install for free that might help me through this?

DVD Decrypter & DVD Shrink will get past 99.9% of movies. They are found in the software section here in AfterDawn.

yes dvd shrink and or dvd decrypter is great freeware

better stuff CloneDVD 2 with anydvd but its NOT free excellent software though ,heres some guides for software and how to use the programs

remember to use good blank media as in Taiyo Yuden or Verbatim and burn at 4x max.
