After burning a downloaded movie that is a MDS or ISO file, the movie scrolls when played on my home DVD player. It appears like the vertical hold is out of tune like on a very old TV? I have used Nero, Alcohol, DVD Decryptor and always get the same result. Any suggestions? PS. Regular movie burning works just fine.

If this is the only time this has happened it could be a bad download.

could it be that you downloaded movies files in PAL - older DVD player won't play the DVD's right (it will scroll all the time). Have you tried to use the DVD on a different player?

If in fact your movies are in PAL format you can change this by using these 2 free progs. First prog is VSO DivXtoDVD and second is CopyToDVD. In the first prog tick box that says CopyToDVD and in Standard box select NTSC. Heres a link for the older version of DivX To DVD, use this one. http://www.afterdawn.com/software/video_software/video_encoders/v...

these progs will convert and BURN, they are great progs.
