There is a detailed guide in my signature for AnyDVD.

Simple to use though. Double click on the fox icon. Now you have a fox icon in your task tray. Insert your DVD into the Drive. The fox will flicker pale red and back to dark red.

Open your ripper and rip to HD. Shrink & burn.
