Hey all,
I am new here and to the dvd back community.
I have been backing up my dvd's with dvd decrypter and then using dvd shrink to re-author/burn them. This is the first time I have had a problem. I got an I/O error with dvd decrypter so I tried to use Anydvd. Same thing.
Then I tried DVDClone and got basically the same thing.
Here is a photo of what dvdclone told me.
I do not have a bunch of knowledge fiddling around withe the programs I have.
They have always just worked without any changes between dvd's
Thanks for your help.
Cant't see your pic it is not coming up, but since you are getting and I/O error on two programs it is probably a bad disk, try cleaning it take it back and get another original.
Yeah, I had to right click on the image and click on show image to get it to work.
What is Cyclic redundancy check? That is what dvd shrink said was the problem.
Here is my dvd decrypter log.

Sounds like a bad pressing or a dirty disc.. Had the same problem with House of D myself.. I got a bad pressing of it and it wouldn't backup in any program I tried.... exchanged for another copy and it worked perfectly...
Have you watched it yet in your standalone player using the original disc? If it stops during the movie at any point it's definately a bad pressed disc .. That's what House of D did to me also....
Do you have AnyDVD running in the background? If not, you need it. That is what's allowing copies of a lot of the newer movies!
It's a 21 day free trial, and then $39. Best $39 I've ever spent!
Good luck!
