I use the cheapest dvd-r's i can find and never have any problems burning games. I dont sstick to a particualr brand, as long as its DVD-R it should work.

try Taiyo Yuden, they are generally considered the best dvd media out there.

rima.com is a good place to get them

i have a ver1.0 box with the samsung drive
mine will only read memorex and verbatim
imation, tdk, phillips and staples nor office depot brand worked on mine.
but my friends box is the exact opposite so i guess it depends on the box.
