I've got some videos (mpeg) where the sound isn't in sync with the video. The actions in the video will happen then the sound sort of trails along after. is there any way I can fix this?

If the lag is uniform, try fix it with AviFixed:

http://www.free-codecs.com/download/AVIFixed.htm

But be sure to back up the original mpegs first.
