i do not think so
you would use an emulator but i have heard that all of
them to play PS2 on your PC just suck and do not work right

I have to agree with steimy, the only way to do it is with emulators, and as of now, there are no fully functional emulators for ps2 on pc.

Hey Steimy or Dan,how about playing PS2 games through the monitor on my notebook pc i.e. Using the original flip top to boot but using the Notebook monitor as the display...

i think you'd need a VGA box, thats the case for most satndard audio visual to monitors etc, i think im correct in saying that but correct me if im wrong
