Is there any software mod that can play backed up PS2 DVD's? I am aware of Swap Magic, but unfortunately its unavailable in this part of the world ;) and I do not wish to give my expensive PS2 for hardware modding.

I've heard of some memory card exploit, does that make backed up PS2 games work?

Is there any other free solution to making backed up PS2 DVD's work on the PS2?

the memory card exploit will work, but you need a modded ps2 or a friend with one to install it.
