Hi everyone,

I am intending to purchase a premodded PS2 soon. After doing some research, I'm probably looking at grabbing one with the DMS4 Pro chip at a one of the reputable dealers mentioned here. I do have a few questions however, and after searching a bit and not coming up with definite answers I thought I'd try to get these clarified here. Thanks in advance for any replies. :)

First off, will my premodded PS2 (DMS4 Pro) be able to play backups of PS1 games straight-up? Or does that require use of something else like Breaker Pro/Gameshark?

Secondly, I have a number of multi-disc PS1 games (mostly RPGs). Can a modded PS2 with the DMS4 Pro chip play backups of these games from beginning to end, with the disc swapping and stuff?

If the answers to both of the above are yes, then it's safe to say that the above mentioned modded PS2 would be able to:

Boot DVD- and/or CD-based PS2 backups
Boot PS1 backups
Boot and run multi-disc PS1 and PS2 backups (even through disc-swapping)
?
