This is all very strange..I had no problem burning til now..trying to burn Family Guy..when I put in the Family Guy DVD..it will rip to computer but then after that when its actually burning it will get to 10 percent and just stop..there are no error messages, it will just freeze up and I dont understand why..Also Madagasker and the other Family Guy DVD won't even open up when I stick it into the DVD drive(its an external drive) I dont know if its the drive itself that is bad or what.

i dunno whatta say but check your registry with softs like CCleaner or RegistryFix and let problems be solved, check your firmware (dont ask me where to get them, i dont know, ask creaky), if all else fails try doing a system restore...

PS: in the event of a system restore i will not be held responsible for any damage of hardware, corruption of data, or loss of files.... this is just a precaution, there is a 0.00001% chance that any damage will be done

Are you using Nero to burn? If so, post a log please.

Could you post a log file from Nero ?

To do so, go here: C:\Program Files\Ahead\Nero
Look for a file named "NeroHistory.log"
Open that file up and copy the last log in it.
Then paste it here.

(Don't forget to remove/delete your serial number from the top of the log file. It usually starts with "1A2.-....-.....".)

Is your computer over heating? Try to take the side of the case off, and leave it off, then try to burn.

The key words there were "PC Manufactures". They don't want you to open it up, cause they want you to ship it to them or take it somewhere to have it fixed.

that comment about seatbelts, are you in America ?

in Australia we get a ticket, maybe even the chance of losing a license if we do not wear our seatbelts...

Seat Belts=Varies from state to state, but you pretty much cant go to jail for a seatbelt, unless something else is wrong, and cant lose your license either, unless you have alot of tickets (points system).

As for the computer case, take the side cover off. I build them, the only safety issues if you have kids that like to touch things. Processor fan might scare them when it smacks their finger. Some things you touch and have static electricity might have a bad effect.

But if you dont have those type of problems taking the side case off will not hurt nothing.

I live in South Carolina and you can get pulled over if they (the pigs) see you without a seatbelt on, but you can ride a motorcycle without a helmet all you want...talk about screwed up.

No real harm in removing the cover of your PC, unless your worried about voiding your warranty. In fact it should be removed periodically to blow the dust out with canned air...LOL
