Im thinking about getting a modded ps2 slim with the laser fix. Im coming from the PC realm and i am very used to the mouse and keyboard controls. I find the joystick anoying when playing shooting games.

How do i conect a keyboard and mouse to the ps2 and use those as controls? Can I??
Also is the mod stable on the new slim models?

As for the mod, if you get a proper modchip like a Matrix or a DMS you should be ok.

trust me, once you start using the controller and get use to it
you will find that it is 10X better than the mouse and keyboard method. So much easier to use.
I have games for PC and got them for a console just so i could enjoy
them more (like Half-Life2)
Everything right there on the controller rather than having to remember 10-15 different buttons that you need on the PC

But aiming and strafing are so hard to do with a controller. With a mouse and keyboard it's just point and click. Mapping buttons isn't really that bad with a keyboard... Try doing a crouch jump with a controller and tell me it's easier with a contoller. I'd find that hard to believe.

I map my own keys, so I don't have any trouble remembering that "1" is my rifle and "2" is my secondary ;)
