The problem is, movie files freeze when ever I fastforward using any programs (windows media player, BSplayer, etc.)

Say I was on thefirst 1:00 of the file, and I click down around 10:00 of the file on the media player.
The video temporily freezes and after about 1minutes starts playing again...
Some of the file play audio as soon as I move the 'playbar' on the media player to whereever, but the video temporarily freezes...
(so the video freezes in one frame, while the sound keeps playing...)

Is there a conflict in my codecs or is the file?

Pre-thanks for the help :)

When you Fast Forward a Video file the Movie Player doesn"t just Jump to were you Fast forwarded it to it has to actually Decode the File up to were to Fast forwarded to so that is why there is a Delay....

With the audio it is easier because the audio takes up Much less Bandwidth so the Player can scen through the audio much faster than through the Video.....

This is pretty much Normal for most Players....
